#4028: My feet HURT but today was a good day.

Had kind of an odd one today: I had to be at work at 7 AM for training--store-wide, everyone was there--until 10 AM, and then back again at 3 PM to work until closing. Naturally I had trouble getting to sleep last night, and ended up getting less than four hours of sleep; it was a bit of a pain but I got to work on time. Once I got home from the training I hit the hay for a few more hours. I woke up feeling inordinately refreshed, and the evening shift was a breeze.

I mean, it felt longer than the 6.5 hours it lasted because there was almost nothing going on, but I got some very positive feedback from my boss about where I am and where I'm headed, and he was impressed that I've roared through the CBT stuff to the extent I have.

Five positive customer comments--which mention me by name--are all I need to get my gold Consultation Agent badge. (Friends and relatives can't shill for me, either; they have to be from strangers.) But today my boss told me to do the Advanced Repair Agent training...and all I needed to do to get "gold" in that area was to do two generalized CBTs on cash registers and return policies. Before the sun set today I had finished them, and I'm now a "gold" ARA.

And I made some money today, so I call that a good day.

I'm pretty wiped out, so I think I'm going to go lay down.
