#4192: Finally, a non-insane day at work.

I can't remember the last time I had a day like this one where I didn't have to run at full speed for the whole freakin' shift. Even though I was alone in the precinct after 5 PM, I had a manageable number of clients, spaced out fairly nicely, so I didn't spend my whole shift working at the counter today. But that doesn't mean I took it easy.

I cleaned up the shipping mess in the back, is what I did. Got a whole bunch of stuff shipped, organized the back some, took care of a bunch of odds and ends, and managed to help clients with questions as they occurred.

So I call that a "win", I do.

Today the weather was spectacular. That's probably why we didn't have a lot going on at the store today. It's really nice not having to deal with a coat, too. And I was able to drive home with the windows open.

...which is not to say that I'm not tired, because I sure as hell am. But we went to bed at a decent time last night, and I slept like a rock. I woke up before the alarm, feeling reasonably refreshed.

About damned time, too.

The old chairs went out with the trash early Friday morning. I think I put them out around 2 AM, so I have no idea if the trash man took them, or some scavenger, nor do I really care. The point is, they're gone.

I'm thinking that I'm going to have to buy some more music soon. I've been listening to my "Bluetech" channel on Pandora, and I have a list of some five songs and one album that I want to buy. Whee!
