#4601: Things I don't care about.

The llama escape in Arizona. Don't care.

Any celebrity news. Okay, I had a fraction of an iota of a care about Leonard Nimoy dying, but that's because I like SF. Celebrities are generally hyper-rich people with absolutely no sense whatsoever, and any time I learn something about their lives it invaribly infuriates me. Example: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West bought their podling a $5,000 fur coat. Considering that $5,000 is what the Jeep cost, I can't afford to buy a new car, and how quickly that toddler will grow out of that coat, that news merely enrages me. It's utterly senseless to spend that kind of money on a coat for anyone, let alone a toddler who lives in freaking California.

...and this kind of story is why I don't care about celebrity news. Not caring is better for my blood pressure, because celebrity news is full of this kind of arrant nonsense.

The dress thing, white or black or WTF ever. Don't give a rip. Stop asking. And while you're at it, why don't you people do your jobs? There are customers waiting and you're in the back having a debate about a stupid optical illusion. Next up, arguing over whether the picture is of an old crone or a young woman?

Sports: I could not possibly care less about the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, Sox, or any other sports team. I don't care about the players or the owners, either. These are more hyper-rich people who make their insane amounts of money off of playing games, and since I do not have any connection with how well some extremely rich man can throw an oblate spheroid, or how well some other extremely rich man can hit a sphere with a stick, I don't have a fuck to give.

(I am mildly interested in sports which involve herding a machine around a course at the fastest speed possible, but only enough to watch one major race per year--if that--and otherwise I only watch it if I happen to find it while channel-surfing.)

I do not care about 95% of television, probably more. "Tale plainly told"; moving on.

I have too much going on in my life for me to worry about a bunch of crap. That's pretty much why this is an ongoing series. I know I've written this kind of post before, but I'm just not interested enough to go looking for it. 'Cause I don't care.
