#4612: Blocking ads, having other fun
Finally got around to installing ad blocking in Pale Moon. The recommended blocker for Pale Moon is "Adblock Latitude", which appears to be extremely effective at blocking ads. Once I figured out how to allow Market Ticker to do ads it was all good--Karl Denninger requires that ads be allowed for one to be able to read his site, and he doesn't serve up annoying shitware ads that take all kinds of bandwidth--and everything loads fast now.
A client, the other day, mentioned ZoneAlarm, and I'd completely forgotten about ZoneAlarm. I used to use it, way back in the long ago, and it was pretty useful. I don't think it was installed on Cephiro; I think I have to go all the way back to Jurai (the P3) for that one. Holy crap. One of these days I'm going to look into that.

Yesterday I didn't do much; I was feeling pretty crummy all day and slept a lot. I feel better today, but I still think I'm going to take it easy.

Last night Mrs. Fungus watched the BD of Jaws that I got her as part of her Valentine's Day extravaganza. The restored version is gorgeous, I have to say.

I haven't the foggiest idea what else I was going to write about when I started this post. I went tiptoing through the stack of links in my bookmarks bar, and now I've forgotten what I wanted to write about.
Well, either it'll come back to me, or it won't. Either way, me sitting here rattling keys about random gorp ain't gonna do it. More later.
