Slept in both days, we did. I was up Wednesday afternoon, from about 12:30 to 2:30-ish, but then I went back to bed and slept until after dark, with my wife, who hadn't gotten up.
I don't know--the past few days at work I was pretty tired, and the extra-long marathon session Monday night didn't help any.
Our weekend is over; and my next post must be a millennium post because it'll be the five thousandth Fungus post.
...switching to another blog platform isn't going to happen as planned, but it will happen relatively soon.

Christmas is a bare 15 days away, and I need to finish doing my shopping. Holy crap.
Meanwhile, we haven't heard anything at the call center about Christmas. Considering that we knew Thanksgiving would be a closure day almost as soon as it was November, and here we are fifteen days out and still we've heard nothing about what the schedule will be like, well...it doesn't bode well for my holiday enjoyment. I find it ominous that they've announced that there's no more overtime, too, though that may be simply because they've continued to staff up since I started working on the floor.
On the plus side, if I do work on Christmas, I'll get double time for it. I won't see that money until next year, but it will be so handy....
Either way, I have to work the schedule they set, because I need money, and I'm not in a position to be obstreperous.

For the first time in more than a year, I lit a fire in the fireplace tonight. Og gave me a crapton of wood last autumn, and I used some of that wood. It burned very nicely and we had a pleasant fire while festooning the evergreen.
Here's how much:
The back seat was still up, so it's a space that's four and a half feet deep, but it's full. I should have gotten a picture of how the Jeep looked with that much wood in it, but I didn't. I did get a laugh from it.
Anyway, it's oak, and as I said it burns very nicely. Og also offered me some hickory, as much as I cared to haul away, but I didn't want to work that hard.
