#5030: Super cool! Sonuvabitch.

Last night Mrs. Fungus and I finished watching Steins;Gate.

It was damned good--probably the best anime series I've seen in a long time.

If it seems like it's getting too heavy--somewhere around, oh, ep 11--just remember the series is a comedy (in the classic sense) rather than a tragedy.

We really enjoyed it.

So, a terrorist tries to kill a cop, and the media immediately labels him "influenced by ISIS". Well, by that standard, 9/11 was perpetrated by people "influenced by Al Qaeda", right?

So today I learned why the TVs in the call center sometimes show rules ("dress code" and other nonsense) and sometimes show CNN.

When the center's average choice score drops too far, CNN is taken off, and rules are substituted.

...what is this, some kind of day camp? Anyway, the rules are preferable to CNN, for fuck's sake.

Illinois is the #3 state in the union for people leaving! Woohoo!!!

I am told by several reliable sources that Jan 8 2016 was the date Roy Batty was first incepted. My, how time flies. Seems like only 34 years ago that 2016 was the FUTURE!

*sigh*
