Last night, winding down, Mrs. Fungus was channel surfing and came across an ep of Bob's Burgers wherein--

No, it's too complicated to explain, except to say that it was a parody of the whole My Little Pony "Brony" phenomenon, and it was seriously disturbing on a great many levels. But then a commercial break began, and was announced with a title card showing one monkey scratching another's butt. For thirty very, very long seconds.

Mrs. Fungus: "Why are we alive?"
