#5507: Errands, chores, damn shoulder

Frickin' shoulder continues to pain me. I've had trouble, periodically, with bursitis in my shoulders for decades; usually it goes away after a while. But this has been a problem for almost two months, now.

Anyway, a couple caps of Tylenol seem to help, ditto for about 800 mg of ibuprofen. But here's what happens: I get up when Mrs. Fungus does because my shoulder prevents sleeping. I take pills. My shoulder stops hurting. I then can't keep my eyes open and I fall asleep.

*sigh*

Best thing to do is not to use it, but it's my right arm. Even so, I've been minimizing what I do with it, using the pain in it as a guide to what I shouldn't do. So far it seems to help, at least a little.

But it's sleeping on my right side that seems to be causing the problem...and about half the time I wake up on my right side, shoulder hurting, because apparently when I'm asleep it doesn't bother me enough to wake me up as soon as I roll over. That sure ain't helping matters any.
