Celebration began shortly after midnight, when Mrs. Fungus gave me a card and a gift. Gift was two things: a BluRay of the first season of Rick and Morty, and a friggin' cannon:

It fits in the palm of my hand. It uses real gunpowder, real shot--.25 caliber--real fuse. Wow. It's really pretty, and I really like it. Expect video of my first test-firing (with blanks).
We ended up binge-watching all 11 episodes of the Rick and Morty disk, because it's probably the most entertaining American cartoon I've seen in an extremely long time. We were both laughing throughout the thing.
IDK. Simpsons stopped being funny a century ago. Mrs. Fungus watches Family Guy every so often, and of all the times I watched it with her I have gotten a chuckle from it once, as in one joke from one episode, one time. (I was astounded: "Wow...I actually laughed at something on Family Guy." That's how not-funny I find that show.) American Dad is basically FG with different characters, making it no FG.
"I haven't heard you laugh like that for a long time!" Mrs. Fungus said. Well, get me something funny and I'll laugh at it. R&M is hilarious. I'm looking forward to seeing the second season.
Anyway, the disk is 4 hours, and we watched it in one sitting, so that kept us up until 4:30. We hit the sack thereafter. Slept like rocks, woke up at 3:30 PM FFS to a house that was 65° inside.
Yesterday, we had the AC on until 8 PM, when the cold front came through. Heat went on at 3:30 PM today and will probably go back off tomorrow when it's supposed to be 77° outside. Whee!
Going out for dinner tonight, probably to a steak place. Woohoo.
