Last year I had to buy a new phone after my faithful Nokia got wet. I ended up with a Motorola C139, which was "okay", because it was cheap ($20).
I stuck with TracFone for a couple of reasons. First, I like their network; second, I had about 400 units of airtime in the old phone. And the same is true this year, as well.
The new phone is also a Motorola, a C261. It can take pictures and surf the internet. List price, $40.
I was surprised that it had about 2/3 of a charge in the battery, so I was able to play with it a bit last night--I bought it while I was on break at work--and take a few pictures.
Now I'm just waiting until it's after 8 AM so I can transfer my minutes and phone number to the new phone from the old one.

Planned Parenthood is not going to get to open their new clinic in Aurora, Illinois, as soon as they had hoped. The fact that they lied on their permit applications has led a judge to order that the clinic remain idle while the city of Aurora investigates "...the deception Planned Parenthood used in obtaining permission for the project."
Some are saying that Planned Parenthood committed "fraud", and apparently if that's proven in a court of law, the permits are considered void and revoked, which means Planned Parenthood would be up a creek without a paddle...and they'd probably have to sell the building.
"Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive..."

Right now I'm DLing Pretty Cure. We'll see if it's worthwhile. But it's 49 episodes (about 11-12 GB) and it's going to take a while.....
