It was a bad episode, the first time I've ever seen South Park do that. They spent the entire ep leading up to that?
South Park has gradually been losing its mojo, which is not surprising considering it's 20 years old, but until this last ep even when I didn't agree with the jabs I could see the humor in them. This week was--well, it was lame. Weak. Not funny, not even from a certain point of view. The big joke was a reach, and it failed.
"That was a really bad episode," I said when it was over.
"I know," Mrs. Fungus said.
It was like someone animated an episode of Saturday Night Live.
South Park shark status: jumped.

Big foo-raw over the Pittsburg Steelers remaining in the locker room for the national anthem continues. Now the one guy who did come out has been pressured into saying he made a mistake.
Meanwhile, all over the United States, Steelers fans are burning jerseys, and more people than ever are giving up on pro football.
File this one under "killing the goose that lays the golden eggs".
Meanwhile, NASCAR--which knows which side the butter's on--has said any driver or team member not standing for the national anthem will be summarily ejected from the race. If there is any fandom out there which is pro-America it's the people who follow stock car racing, and you show your anti-American SJW side to them at your own peril.

Went to two hardware stores trying to find registers for family room, struck out at both. I'm not sure what to do about it. My brain is not working at all well today.
