Clear today, but cold--34--and the grass is undoubtedly wet, still. Tomorrow is supposed to be about 50, so I think that's when I'll get after the grass.
Tuesday, asbestos guys. *sigh* And a crapton of stuff to do before Thursday around everything else. It's a party.

Hinterland has doubled down on "moody" and become "bleak". I didn't notice that I'd watched the end of season 1 the other night. Last night, during my bout of insomnia, I watched the first two eps of season 2.
They explained why he lives in a crappy mobile home by himself and why he moved there from London, but in the process of doing that they amped up the personal drama and ruined the guy's life, so now it's actively depressing. Should have expected that, particularly considering that (SPOILER) they killed off a love interest in the same episode that generated it.
Here's hoping things improve for the guy.

Soon it will be time to put up the Christmas tree. Wow.
I'm a complete convert to the short-needle trees. We had one last year, and instead of leaving billions of dry, sharp needles in the carpet to be found by unwary feet, it left little pods of somewhat springy needles which were much easier to see and dispose of. Decorating it didn't lead to me scratching welts on my forearms, either. Why didn't anyone tell me?
