This is an homage to how I used to spend the hours from 10 pm until midnight on Sunday night listening to Musical Starstreams on 95.5 FM in Chicago...until, that is, they stopped playing it. Not really a huge surprise that a few months later they switched from jazz fusion to country.
WNUA took it off their schedule and substituted some horseshit. There was no other source for it. For a little while I was able to get shows from the Usenet, but that was unpredictable and cumbersome. They have some shows available to stream from that site, but that list was last updated about a year ago.
Hence, the Bluetech channel. It's not quite the same, but it's pretty good.
Back when I could listen to it via the radio it was a radio program, I'd turn off the lights in my room, light a couple of candles, and just sit in my rocking chair and listen. I don't have time for that nonsense any longer; the time I can spend just listening to music is limited, so here I sit, blogging and listening to show number 1601 which--according to their playlist page--was broadcast Jan 3, 2016. And that's the latest one available on their streaming page. Whee!
Anyway, it's a relaxing way to end the weekend and spin down for bed the night before Monday.
