#6201: Republicans: Watergate! Democrats: Here, hold my beer.

Incandescently illegal. I don't agree with Denninger's conclusion, but the facts he lays out are 100% correct: FBI having a mole in a presidential campaign, and that mole being an employee of the CIA, is just so damned illegal that the merest hint of similar activity brought down the Nixon administration.

I'm sure I don't need to lay out for you just how crooked this whole thing is. And do you know who is responsible for all this happening? I'll give you a hint: his last name begins and ends with vowels and he was President prior to Trump.

Truman famously had a plaque on his desk that read, "The buck stops here." Well, ultimately, as President when all these corrupt activities were taking place, Obama is responsible for them.

Incidentally, the Chicago machine solution to the pension problem it created for itself is assraping the taxpayers, as expected.

If Cook County is stupid enough to do this, they're going to accelerate their timetable and end up like Detroit that much sooner. Certainly the people who can most afford to leave--the ones who would be paying that $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 property tax premium--will leave the state posthaste. And with them goes the bulk of your tax base, accelerating the decline.

Good luck, baby!

Perfect example of how government regulations strangle small business.

THIS. I can kind-of-sort-of get impressionism and even surrealism--but the postmodern stuff is nothing but noise. It will never be anything but noise because that's all it is.

The only thing that I get from a Pollock painting is that he was clever enough to find a way to get paid pallets of money for splattering paint at random.

Today at work was so not-busy I ended up watching two eps of Doctor Who, one from 1982 and one from 1975. Holy crap.

Saturdays are just not busy around there. Please do not get the idea I'm complaining about it, though; after the week I had, I was glad of it.
