#6268: No, that made it worse rather than better.

I'm talking about the swimming pool.

My big brainstorm was to buy play sand and attempt to level the area off with it. Well, that was a bust, because instead of leveling the area I've simply made the pool sit more lopsided. It's perhaps half full; I'm going to have to let most of that water out, move some of the sand around, and then refill it. *sigh*

Well, that's how it goes when you half-ass it. What I wanted to do was to put down stakes, tie string to them and get a level, then apply sand--but that would require a lot more spare time than I have, so I tried to eyeball it and did...poorly.

Plus side, I can fix it, and then merely have to re-fill the pool.

But it would have been better if I hadn't bothered at all, to be honest.
