I keep trying to explain to my wife that the book is informed by a highly anti-Christian worldview, and is meant o be an indictment of traditional morals, which is why I absolutely will not watch the television show based on that horseshit.
By the way, see the expression on Alyssa Milano's face? That's the only expression she can make. That's the only expression she's ever been able to make since she grew boobs and her character on Who's The Boss? turned into Standard American Teenager. That kind of squinty-eyed vacant look that says, "My contact lenses have dried out and I can't feel my corneas." There are several women just like her on television, who only have that one expression, and I can't stand any of them.
