...late on the day they're laying me off. Oh, tragedy.
Got there and worked; was in contact with my recruiter who said $Potential_Employer would call me around 2 PM for a phone screening. So instead of going to lunch at 2, I sat at my desk and waited for the call. That went pretty well, so we'll be setting up an in-person interview soon. But by the time that was done the cafeteria was closed and it was too late to go out for food, so lunch ended up being a bag of Chili-Cheese Fritos. Whee!
Continued working, waiting for the Sword of Damocles to drop; I thought someone was going to come over to me and tell me it was time to go. But no: at 4:30 messages popped up on my screen that I needed to enter my password, and when I tried, it rejected it. Tried to find my boss, but she'd left for the day, and so I went back to my desk. When I entered my password, it said "password disabled" and I said, "Welp, guess it's now, huh?"
Found the remaining manager on duty and handed over my badge. Ended up leaving at 4:40 PM, so that'll be my official end time.
On to the next adventure.

It's cold, rainy, and windy outside, just like you'd expect of November.
