Okay, the Che Guevara tee shirt thing? Che Guevara was a murderous thug. When they assassinated him, they were doing him a favor, because he wouldn't be nearly as famous or idolized as he would have been if he'd died of lung cancer or syphilis.
"We make political apparel that appeals to progressive, liberal, open-minded individuals."
Oh, is that so? That explains the shirt with a picture of George Bush that says "instant asshole just add oil". Yeah, that's "open-minded" all right. That's right up there with their "Heil Bussh[sic]" shirt, with the SS lightning bolt symbol replacing the "S" in "Bush".
"The mainstream media has no right to have a monopoly over your mind." How ironic that the message of the mainstream media is closer to the message of these tee shirts than, say, Rush Limbaugh.
"Anything war can do peace can do better". Oh, is that so? I have two words for you: Neville Chamberlain. Remember him? Does the phrase peace for our time ring a fricking bell?
People of the political stripe who now wear Che Guevara tee shirts, back in the 1930s, thought Hitler was the cat's meow. Hitler was just fine with them. Hitler only became a bad guy in their eyes when he broke his treaty with Stalin and attacked Russia.
"'Start Wars' t-shirt. Fight the dark side with an ironic T-shirt!" What is "ironic" about a picture of the GOP elephant holding a lightsaber over the words "START WARS" in the same font as the "STAR WARS" movie title? Is that irony? 'Cause it sure doesn't look like irony from here. It looks like satire or parody, but not irony.
But that's okay.
'Cause we've got THIS!
