Finished my reread of AV last night. I realize I'm saying so myself, but I really enjoyed the cold read of it; it's been seven weeks since I last looked at it. A few minor edits are needed, but nothing major.

Just need to finish the dang thing....

"Lost" is a bit much. I saw Brainstorm the instant it came out on video, and it's been an occasional rewatch for me ever since. It's good.

Last night we watched Scrooged and, uh, some chick flick starring Holly Hunter that my wife wanted to watch because she remembered it as being a lot funnier than it actually was.

The night before, The Man Who Invented Christmas, which was moderately entertaining, and then An American Christmas Carol, the one from 1979 starring Henry Winkler.

I've been wanting to watch that one, it having been approximately a decade since I last saw it. I think I saw its original broadcast in 1979. Not bad, kind of dated, but The Fonz as a Scrooge-like character.

It was past our bedtime when we put it on, and that's probably why there was a joke made--apropos of nothing in the actual movie--about someone's dog having five legs.

The second idea I had for a Christmas vignette is not coming together. I've got one more shot at it. We'll see what happens.

Christmas Eve is tomorrow. Dang.
