#6672: Why i watched my mouth VERY carefully while in Canada

There is no freedom of speech there.

I am not the only one skeptical of NASA's latest Moon plan.
Requires the SLS

Requires the SLS on time

Requires the SLS on some sort of budget

Requires six SLSs in 2024-2028
And he is as optimistic, or less, about the prospects for SLS as I.

I'm guessing that one of the people behind Game of Thrones said that they "kind of forgot" something, and it thus became this meme. They "kind of forgot" a hell of a lot of stuff.

That is why you hire continuity people with excellent attention to detail, and let them in on the writing sessions.

Maybe "Craftsman" will no longer be synonymous with "Harbor Freight" but once again be the less-expensive alternative to Snap-On. That would be nice.

(What that has to do with Trump, I don't know. Maybe the Chinese trade thing?)

I can't imagine starting a family in a city which doesn't allow unrestricted abortion! No, it makes no sense to me, either.

The refusal to enforce vagrancy laws has turned Seattle into a shithole.

Democrats hate it that Trump won't sit there and listen to their bullshit. I like that Trump said he'll talk to them about the infrastructure bill once they're finished with this impeachment crap.

As Karl Denninger points out in that post, "The office of the President as a co-equal branch of government has neither the ability to force Congress to do anything nor does it have an obligation of cooperation." The President is not beholden to Congress. He does not serve at Congress' pleasure; he has powers that Congress does not by design and Congress cannot lightly interfere with the exercise of those powers.

"The Democrats can have the money and the media, or win elections. But they can't have all three."

Kim du Toit makes a good case here for corporal punishment. I have--since high school!--been an advocate of dispensing physical punishments for certain crimes, because repeat offenders would be rather less inclined to repeat the offense if they had to take lashes from a whip for them.

Drunk driving, for example. Imagine getting ten from the cat for driving while drunk--how often do you think it would happen?

Gee, corruption in the Chicago machine. Surprise!

Tesla autopilot engages in unsafe behaviors when engaged. That shit needs reprogramming, right there.

The story of how Zork came to the home computer market. Never knew that the original game was a megabyte--in 1977!

I get what Larry Correia is saying here, but it is also true that today the taxes are higher than they were then.

The effects of altitude on various things. "People make marajuana jokes slightly earlier." "What time is it? "4:17! Blaze it!"

Heh.
