#6694: Of course it's a hoax

As suspected there is no "garbage patch" in the Pacific. Try four sand-sized particles per 260 gallons of water.

Like a lot of people, I was skeptical, because if the thing really existed--if it was really as bad as that picture suggested--then where was the video? The eco-nazis would have plastered video of flyovers of the thing everywhere, and the news media would have jumped on that bandwagon faster than you could spell "fake news".

Instead? Nothing but a few still images coupled with a shitton of scaremongering--and as we can see, that's because it doesn't exist.

This kind of hoax is why I don't believe anything ecologists say. Too often, they lie.
