You can't browse by title; you can only browse by individual book, so if you're looking at series by title you're paging past three pages of Pokemon and three pages of One Piece and four pages of Fairy Tail and-and-and. I guess if you don't know exactly what you want to buy, you're out of luck.

I've picked out four books I want to buy. I cannot check out because apparently my IP address has made too many requests from their server.
STUPID!

During my lunch break today I finished watching Girls und Panzer on Netflix. Good series.

Fauxcahontas says she's willing to ban the construction of new homes. Isn't that lovely? Put an entire sector of the economy out of business, why don't you? After all, they can just learn to code, right? All those carpenters and foundation guys and drywallers and plumbers and electricians and....

...and lumber companies and cement companies and pipe and wire and fixture companies...

"No concensus yet"? Seven percent of the audience reviews were positive. I'd say that's a pretty convincing number.

So: despite B&N's best efforts I was able to order my books:
Komi Can't Communicate 4The latter three were bought solely on the strength of the cover art and the blurb about the story. I'm using a gift card, here, so it's no loss if one or more turn out to be duds.
Horimiya 1
Ojojojo 1-2
Laid Back Camp 1
That's a gift card from last year. This year's gift card will go towards the new Dresden Files book when it comes out. Hehhehehhe. Peace Talks, coming out July 14th.

For the most part I spent the weekend reading manga and relaxing, but I really can't do too much more of that this month. I have projects to complete.
We de-festooned the conifer and got it outside Saturday night; the nice thing about the living room having a hardwood floor is that cleaning up pine needles is amazingly easy.

Linked because of what's said at 2:30: "This is all Beetle...'cept for this." Not the first time that a Porsche used parts from a Volkswagen, but certainly the most egregious example, I think. That's a 944; I have to wonder if the people who bought the things (when they were new) understood what they were buying.
The 924 was meant to be an "entry level" Porsche, and the thing went 0-60 in seventeen seconds. Not fast at all. The 944 was supposed to be better, especially in its turbo variant. But it looks like it was the same deal as the 914: sharing parts with Volkswagens to make it cheaper.
Oh well! Not my problem.

Anyway, it's Monday night. They say it's going to snow Friday--I've seen accumulation predictions from five to eight inches--but I'll believe it when I see it. The pattern so far this year has been for the predictions to be dire, and then taper off.
Eh. I'll spend a few minutes getting the snowblower out, just in case. Can't hurt.
