Pretty Cure's first story is also over. Very good ending. I like it.

DW did some interesting things but I got the idea--in the last 3 episodes--that the producers of the anime were rushing things a bit. It seemed like there was too much story left to cram into three episodes--9 through 12, that is--but not enough to justify a thirteenth episode.
It's a shame, because I would have liked to have seen more of it. I liked the characters and the story was good.
DW is infectious with its enthusiasm for the world of doujinshi. After watching a couple episodes of that it makes me want to go draw.
Naderu is definitely my favorite character. She's an OL by day and a doujin-ka by night. That's exactly the kind of girlfriend I need. (Esp. if she could draw better than me, so I could learn something....) Naderu also scores points for "female nosebleed", which is a rarity in manga and anime. And I love her voice.

PC finished the first story about the Dark King wanting to collect the seven Prism Stones in order to ensure his continued existence. There are 23 more episodes in the first series; then there are something like 47 more in Pretty Cure Max Heart. Yow.
At least it wasn't a Sailor Moon-type ending: "they all get killed at the end, but once Queen Beryl is defeated they come back to life with no memory of being Sailor Scouts. Now cry."
("Now cry" is starting to become a sentence ending phrase like Chichiri's "no da" in Fushigi Yuugi. Oh well.) (No da.)

Seto no Hanayome is finishing off with a two-parter, so I expect to have more to say about that once I've watched ep 26.

Completely unrelated to anime dept: today at work I saw that we're selling the Western Digital external USB 500 GB drive for $150. And right next to it, we're selling the 320 GB drive...for $150. WTF.

The 500 GB drive has 276 GB worth of stuff on it, mostly anime. Yeesh.
