The people have made themselves heard which means "Fatass" Pritzker isn't getting his rubber-stamp permission from the Illinois legislature to rule the state with an iron fist as long as suits his enlarged heart.
It's not the end of that, though. You can bet he'll try to sneak it through one way or another.
Churches in Chicago got fined for holding services and if that's not a blatant violation of the First Amendment I don't know what is.
Meanwhile, DuPage, Kendall, and Madison county sheriffs said they wouldn't enforce Pritzker's diktat.
Pritzker threatened to use state police:
"Counties that try to reopen in defiance, may not be reimbursed by FEMA for damages they cause because they ignored the law," Pritzker said adding, "Local law enforcement and the Illinois State Police can and will take action."Can they, though? I don't think we have enough state police to make more than a scratch on three counties' worth of businesses. And unless I'm mistaken I don't think Pritzker is in charge of FEMA money, depending on how it's distributed of course.
Expect this to become even more widespread as people finally get fed the hell up with this nonsense.

As for me, I'm hoping to take the bike for a spin (a legal one) tomorrow. Got the insurance folks working on a quote and the plates should be no real trouble to renew, and then--whee!!!
Meanwhile, need dinner. Hmm.
