Somewhere I saw a story to the effect that Faux has brought in consultants to help them understand why their audience numbers took a steep nosedive right after they took a maggoty, runny shit all over them. The people running Faux are the elite, man, and they know what's what! ...but apparently don't understand that if you have a formula that works, you don't mess with it.
Apparently the ivy league business schools don't teach the old maxim, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
"...what had been the number one news network for twenty years is now pretty much even with CNN's numbers." They are hemorrhaging viewers.
Ratings have cratered and a crisis management PR team has been brought in to try and calm the rubes down. The attitude at Fox is reportedly one of, this will all blow over in a few weeks. You have to understand, I already knew what was happening at Fox and had stopped watching them years ago. Like, before Bill O'Reilly left. If my wife had to have the news on I'd kindly ask her to put Fox on, because theirs was the least left-slanted news available. But after election night, they took the mask off, and now it no longer matters who she puts on as long as it IS NOT Faux News.
No. It won't. Not this time. As I said, the news business is built on trust and once that trust is broken there is no gluing it back to together.
At the next earnings call it will be apparent to all of Fox Corp's investors that the cash cow is dead in the field.
Quoth our President,
FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose.Emphasis mine.

I am told there is no proof of election fraud. "No, there is no evidence of stuffing ballot boxes, no matter how much you whimper 'Cheater! Cheater!' like a toddler," said Mr. Buffalo, NY.
...except for, oh, about one million Trump votes mysteriously being switched to Biden votes.
It's perfectly legal for a court to extend voting deadlines willy-nilly! Except that it's not legal or constitutional.
"No evidence of stuffing ballot boxes"? So I guess seven states are auditing and recounting just for fun.
What are the states in play and what are the ultimate likely outcomes?Oh, and then there's lots more, but I'm going to satisfy myself with just two.
The seven states still counting votes, or with recounts ordered, or audits forecast, or credible evidence of fraud or system "glitches" include:
Georgia's 16 electoral votes under a scheduled recount.
Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes under a scheduled audit and a Supreme Court order.
Michigan's 16 electoral votes with statehouse subpoenas for election officials.
Wisconsin's 10 votes under a scheduled recount and statewide canvas.
Nevada's six votes chasing legal challenges for fraud and a Bill Barr Justice Department investigation.
Arizona's 11 votes still counting and under scrutiny for voter irregularities.
And Nebraska's one electoral vote in their District 2 under investigation.
But of course CBS-NBC-ABC-CNN-NYT aren't reporting on it, right?
Now, my Biden-supporting (or Trump-hating) friends, can we do a little gut check? Aren't you a little bit queasy about...The answer is that no they don't care about all that because after all it was their guy who benefits from all the fraud and deceit.
Tens of thousands of ballots suddenly appearing from out-of-state with only the presidential race filled out … and all filled out for Joe Biden?
Hundreds of thousands of votes popping up overnight election night … after the inexplicable halt in counting … in some places, 100% for Joe Biden?
Philadelphia, a city notorious for election fraud, absolutely refusing to let Republican observers anywhere near the people handling mail-in ballots?
In several states, piles of Trump votes suddenly getting taken from him, then the same exact number suddenly popping up for Biden?
Dominion, the company behind the election system used in these states, being connected to the Clinton Foundation and George Soros?
Dozens of states accepting Dominion's system, despite its security weaknesses being so evident that Texas rejected it three times?
The Associated Press reporting just last year that Dominion and its sister companies "had long skimped on security in favor of convenience and operated under a shroud of financial and operational secrecy despite their critical role in elections."
Lindsay Graham's report on evidence of a ballot harvesting operation at Pennsylvania nursing homes which could have netted Biden 25,000 votes? (Ballot harvesting is illegal in Pennsylvania.)
Biden vote totals in specific swing cities … and nowhere else … exceeding Obama's by up to 40%?
Vote tallies for Biden in Milwaukee exceeding Obama's 2008 landslide … despite Milwaukee having fewer people than it did in 2008? (And despite Donald Trump greatly increasing his share of the minority vote.)
Joe Biden underperforming Hillary Clinton almost everywhere … except in a couple crucial swing state cities … and only after counting in those states was halted?
Joe Biden handily losing bell-weather states Florida and Ohio, but somehow defying history and won? This despite very little campaigning, a non-existent ground game, and a campaign message that ran counter to the economic interests of the American people.
But the piece of resistance is the most-blocked post on Twattle which shows how the Biden vote tallies from the districts with all the fraud in them violate one of the laws of statistics, and most definitely shows that election fuckery took place. It's short, sweet and anyone with half a brain and eyes to see with ought to be able to understand it.
If, that is, they are not willfully blind...as is the Democrat-media complex.

The problem with the left always eating its own is that the competition for power is Darwinian. The ones who are most willing to commit any and all atrocities to come out on top end up being the ones in power. So it turned out to be Hitler in Germany and Lenin in Russia.
...but it is definitely good for them not to be united, because they will waste a lot of energy, and political capital, fighting against each other.

Biden is not wasting any time. Biden pledged not to declare victory until the election had been "independently certified", but the instant the Associated Press projected him as the winner, he declared victory and had a victory speech and started assembling his cabinet.
Seven states still have not certified, and there is credible evidence of fraud in each and every one of them...and if enough of them turn out to have voted for Trump, Biden is not the President-elect after all.
And not to put too fine a point on it, but the press has no constitutional role in the government of the United States. The press is guaranteed freedom of expression by the First Amendment, but unless I'm mistaken it is not even mentioned anywhere else in the document.
The AP's "projection" of Biden as winner is worth the paper it's printed on, and nothing else...and I don't know if you've ever looked at what used paper fetches from recyclers, but it's going to be pennies per ton....

Frosty morning today--both grass and car windows.
I am still getting a kick out of starting the Jeep, because it cranks and then...runs, quietly, with no fuss whatsoever. If I had known I'd get this much pleasure out of fixing the exhaust system, I would have done it sooner! It's nice to be able to listen to music without turning the stereo way up, or to have a quiet conversation with my wife while we drive to a restaurant.
Next up is the front sway bar link kit. That shouldn't take too long to install; getting the old end links off will be the hard part. Sunday, probably: Saturday promises to be November weather. Sunday at least it's not supposed to rain....
But that means that I--if I can summon the gumption--can sand spackle in the bedroom. Ideally I'd like to have it done before the holidays kick in, so we can get carpeting done, but Thanksgiving is a mere two weeks away now, and Governor Fatass is locking Illinois down again because COVID-19.
We moved the bed out of the master bedroom on Black Friday, 2019. No, I don't procrastinate; why would you ever insinuate such a thing? *sigh*
Meanwhile, the cupola needs only the damned trim pieces to be complete. After talking it over with Og I agreed with him that the right trim could be fabbed from a 1x2; set the blade up correctly on a table saw and make your own, presto-chango. The only problem is that I do not, myself, have a table saw. Og has told me that he sees used ones all the time that go for pennies on the dollar, and is trying to find one that's more-or-less free but still decent. (Example: a friend of his downstate paid something like $50 or $75 for a table saw that probably cost several thousand dollars when new. Needed work: a couple little bits of brass machined just so for something-or-other. The parts cost money from the manufacturer, but it so happens that the guy is a highly experienced machinist with a full shop of tools....)
Anyway, I want to finish the cupola and mount it back on the roof before we start getting serious winter weather, so it'll be good if I can get it finished sooner rather than later.

Tomorrow is Friday, and about time! This has been a long week.
