#7387: Apparently no one ever worked for Dominion.

People who work(ed) for the company are desperately trying to remove references to it from their on-line profiles. Why do you suppose that is?

Not wanting to go to jail? Not wanting to be subpoenaed and forced to testify? Not wanting to have a blot on their escutcheon?

They've even got Tucker Carlson claiming that there's no proof of fraud, that the election was 100% honest. That doesn't really jibe all that well with the behavior of Dominion employees.

If the company you work for is unjustly accused of helping a political party steal elections, you don't scrub it from your LinkedIn profile. You don't close your offices in Denver and Toronto and bug out of town.

The funny thing is, all of this is civil rather than criminal. No one's being arrested. No matter who wins the lawsuits, no one goes to jail when it's over. Maybe you don't want to testify because all your answers have to invoke the 5th Amendment, but no one's going to arrest you. But in the hypothetical case where Dominion did nothing wrong, where the vote tallies from their machines were 100% honest, the behavior of their employees is utterly nonsensical.

"The wicked flee where no man pursueth," I heard somewhere, and it's certainly true.

I think this is why even 30% of Democrats believe the election was fraudulent. (That is to say, 30% of Democrats are willing to admit such.) The behaviors you'd expect from truly innocent people are not present here; instead there is a lot of defensiveness, and actions that make no sense without fraud being present.

Now, if you really want to go down the rabbit hole, Morpheus is offering you the red pill right here and it contains this nice little bit:
Yesterday, sources told us that the CIA was in charge of running the vote theft operation, with Gina Haspel deeply involved in straight up treason. On election night, President Trump and hand-selected DoD personnel were sitting in secure command room, watching and documenting the entire election theft taking place in real time. All the vote theft was recorded in detail, and this vote theft was allowed to take place so that deep state treasonous actors could be caught in the act. Big Tech, the mainstream media and the CIA are all conspiring to try to gaslight the nation and falsely claim that Biden won, even as they all know the election was stolen via voting machine software theft. This is why they are rushing to remove Trump from office right now, with John Brennan, Obama's former CIA director, practically crapping himself on live TV and demanding Trump be immediately removed via the 25th Amendment. That's because Brennan and the other deep state actors know they've been caught. Trump has all the evidence. In fact, he has a detailed transaction log showing the fraud playing out in real time.
Emphasis theirs.

If that is true, then in two weeks it will make for an unbelievable shitstorm. An epic shitstorm.

...IF it is true. The legendary warrior-philosopher Jayne Cobb said it best: "I smell a whole lotta 'if' comin' offa this plan." That blockquote reads like the summary of a spy thriller from before Clancy's Hunt For Red October. But you know what else it does?

It jibes with the behavior of Dominion executives, employees, and contractors.

It's a dangerous game to play, because if Trump made a wrong move they get away with stealing the election and things hit the shitter. A President putting his entire legacy on the line to catch people who are rigging the system, red-handed...that requires balls, big ones, made of neutronium, or at least something so fantastically heavy and expensive I can't find any words for it.

So I'm taking this one with a grain of salt. But my not believing something that sounds awfully outlandish does not mean that vote fraud did not happen.

Just remember, this shit got its start in Venezuela.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but they do want to kill everyone who voted for Trump.

Slept like dogshit last night. I kept waking up coughing. Usually one cough drop and I'll sleep the rest of the night, but last night I had cough syrup, then a cough drop, then another cough drop. Kept waking up regardless, so I might have gotten as much as three hours of sleep, maybe four. *sigh*

Guess I'd better go to the doctor again.

...but here's the thing: it's not acid reflux any longer. The symptoms I was having, like the chest congestion and the "lump in the throat" and all the other weirdness, that's gone--at least, 95% of the time. I've diligently taken Tagamet every night before bed. No food for an hour before going to bed, no soda--water only--for the commensurate period. I've cut down on midnight snacks, trying not to go to bed immediately after eating something. So the acid reflux is doing much better now.

So, why cough?

My theory is that at the same time I was getting treatment for the GERD, the doc noticed that my blood pressure was now firmly in "hypertension" range and needed treatment, so I've been taking Lisinopril since late February. Under "less common" side effects? "Cough". And I take the stuff right before I go to bed, because under "common side effects" they list "fatigue".

Well, we'll work it out, I suppose.

But as for right now, it's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I--with malice aforethought--scheduled nothing to do today but rest; so I think I'll go do exactly that.
