#7572: The things they forget

What happens to oil if it's left to drift on the ocean? "Oil in the ocean photooxidizes within hours to days." It breaks down into other chemicals. These chemicals are persistent, but they're not crude oil and disperse pretty quickly.

What the environmentalist whackos forget is that crude oil is a natural product of the Earth. And long before humans started drilling for it, oil would find its way to the surface and seep into the oceans in quantities that make the Exxon Valdez or Deep Horizon events look like a toddler spilling a juice box.

The ecosystem can handle these insults. Rather than taking "decades to centuries" as the eco-nazis predicted at the time, Prince William Sound's ecosystem recovered in less than a year from the Exxon Valdez spill, and not because humans went there to clean it up but because the ecosystem can handle crude oil just fine.

You know, just stop already, you stupid shithead. Bitch McCowbell is now outraged! that the democrats are talking about doing away with the filibuster.

Exactly as I predicted. The failure theater is an old schtick by now, and his fake outrage is a tired cliche.

Well, this is awfully pretty, isn't it? A left-wing politician backed up by soldiers. How lovely.

Well, 10:41. Bedtime soon.
