...and slept until 2:30. Sun sets at 4:30. I set car maintenance=NO and turned my attention to dinner, which is this slow-cooker chicken recipe. I don't know--whenever I try to make a slow-cooker chicken recipe, it always comes out tasting kind of bland. For chicken enchiladas, I had to dice up two whole jalapenos and put them in with the rest of the stuff to get any flavor. Zero trouble doing beef dishes; they always come out fine.
So, I sprinkled some sriracha on it. Heh.
The funny part is, I had all the ingredients on hand, except for green onions. Honey, garlic, soy sauce, sriracha, tomato paste, sesame seeds, corn starch, vinegar--the only reason I bought chicken was that I hate defrosting it.
But if Mrs. Fungus keeps finding these recipes that call for "two tablespoons" of tomato paste, I'm going to have to find tomato paste in a resealable container.
