#1136: I want a WTF license plate!

Some North Carolina drivers get plates with "WTF [four-digit number]" on them. I'd pay money for "WTF 1337".

An interesting story about metallic glasses. The story makes it sound as if this is ready now to revolutionize the aircraft industry, but I have a feeling we're still a bit far from practical applications just yet.

Still, the more we learn about materials, the more we can do with them.

Massachusetts Democrat is more concerned with the rights of child molestors than the safey of children. Why isn't this surprising to me? I mean, why? It freaking well should be, so why isn't it?

Another claim that Barak Hussein Obama's birth certificate is a forgery. What if this is true? This is an important story, and it's a serious issue if it's actually true, so why is the media ignoring this?

Granted, so far it has mainly been kept alive by bloggerators, and the standard of evidence for this isn't very good. But if it were John McCain, the media would be all over this story.

Ahh, Ann Coulter, you are a rare gem. I love Ann Coulter:
In response to skyrocketing gas prices, liberals say, practically in unison, "We can't drill our way out of this crisis."

What does that mean? This is like telling a starving man, "You can't eat your way out of being hungry!" "You can't water your way out of drought!" "You can't sleep your way out of tiredness!" "You can't drink yourself out of dehydration!"

Seriously, what does it mean? Finding more oil isn't going to increase the supply of oil?
And because drilling for oil now won't fix the oil price problem instantly, we shouldn't do it. Right?

On my way home this morning, at 7 AM, it was 78° outside. I guess it's summer now.
