#1300: Stupid mosquito.

I just got bit on the index finger of my mouse hand. I was trying to find out which group I had started downloading Toradora! from, so I could get ep 2 from the same group, so I was mousing through the directory looking at the dense jumbles of characters these clowns prefix the filenames with. There was the sensation of itch/scratch on my finger so I absentmindedly rubbed finger against thumb and continued to--what the...?

End result: mosquito paste on my hand and mouse.

If someone handed me a remote control and told me that pressing the button would eradiacate all mosquitos from the world, but it would mean some other species might suffer from the loss of a food so-

CLICK! Let 'em learn to eat something else then, damn it.

It feels odd to be awake at 6:45 on a Friday night when I'm not going to work. Instead I'm sitting here and waiting for 7 PM, when an ep of House, MD that I haven't seen is on. (They showed a bunch of eps all afternoon but I was asleep.)

The ep that's on now is about the girl who doesn't feel any pain. I've seen it already and this show doesn't have a lot of "rewatch" going for it.

In this ep, though, the climactic scene is really awesome. "Damn it! The record's sixty." (Which you'll understand if you've seen the ep; and if you haven't, I didn't spoil it. Heh.)

Of late, though, I've been thinking about how I could get my hands on Millennium without paying too much for it. I got interested in the show in 2000(?) and watched it for a while in reruns, whenever I remembered it was on, but they stopped showing it. I'd like to watch it from the beginning, but I don't think I want to shell out the $$ for the box sets. Maybe get 'em used from somewhere? I don't know.

Today was another gorgeous autumn day that I slept through. Well, that's how it goes.

I was sitting here doing a little WoW for the first time in several days. It was quiet and nothing much was happening and my eyelids were getting…

  • #7759: It's a ridiculously nice day today

It was a ridiculously nice day yesterday, too. Can't complain. * * * Karl Denninger talks about the vaccine for Wuhan Flu. "Nurses are walking out…
