"We can’t...keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times...." But I guess if you're Barack Hussein "Boss Tweek" Obama, 77° is perfectly fine?

Obama's senior advisor--this administration's equivalent of Karl Rove, essentially--said, "He's from Hawaii, okay?"

Oh. Crap. Well, that's different, I guess.

Oh, and about him telling those on the east coast to toughen up? A Chicago winter looks like freakin' Orlando next to some of the shit that hits the east coast. And there are plenty of places on the east coast which do not routinely get snow and ice (Washington D.C. among them) and so don't have the equipment and materials (ie plows and road salt) to deal with them when they do occur.

Let's say you live somewhere that gets snow or ice maybe--maybe--once every other year. Do you buy a snow blower?

I didn't think so.

The Anchoress weighs in on the same story.

"He's from Hawaii"--what a douchebag.

"Mr. LeBlanc is reportedly pondering actually selling his 'beloved 2003 Kawasaki' to help chip in to the household finances."

WTF.

Like the author of that post I am really, really sick and tired of the entitlement mentality that leads to stories like that one.

"It's embarrassing for my husband to take a job he is overqualified for, and I know he feels ashamed at times."

...cry me a freaking river, lady. I used to write avionics manuals. Now I'm a stockboy. You don't see me crying about it or "feeling ashamed".

And their mortgage is $440 per month--WTF! That's lower than my rent was when I was living in Cedar Rapids. And for a house with five bedrooms and three bathrooms!

Does CNN expect me to feel sorry for these people?

Douchebags.

DRM shuts out those who paid for the game. As usual, DRM does more harm than good.

Douchebags.

Death ray shoots down unmanned drones! Take that, douchebags!

Corporate douchebaggery at its finest. The douchebags might as well just tell their CEO, "I am planning to have your book tattooed on my back!"

Wipe off your noses, douchebags.

Some of us are more equal than others; are you surprised? So Congressman Rangel--who is in charge of the House Ways and Means Committee, meaning that the IRS is beholden to him--failed to pay $10,000 in taxes, and when he finally coughed up the dough, had to pay no fees or penalties.

According to Rangel spokesman Emile Milne, "This legislation is unnecessary. All taxpayers currently receive equal treatment under the law."

But, as I said, some are more equal than others.

Douchebags.

Douchebag gets arrested, acts like a douchebag. What of it?

Besides, I don't know what the "racially inappropriate language" thing is about. It's a black woman calling a black man names. I mean, we're told repeatedly that it's perfectly fine for black people to call each other "nigga"--as they do in rap songs and such--and besides, the identity politics folks would have us believe that it is impossible for black people to be racist because they are oppressed.

Seriously, though, this is a case of someone--who is a judge and therefore in a position of authority--acting as if she is above the law. Clearly she's unhappy that she's been arrested.

Still, it sounds to me as if she's getting off easy: just complete an "alcohol education program (whatever the hell that is) and the charges against her will be dismissed.

Having been a victim of drunk driving myself, I take a pretty dim view of people who drive under the influence, and think they deserve more than a slap on the wrist.

Anthropogenic climate change gets another kick in the pants. Ha ha, douchebags.

And so, you see, I have a headache.
