#1457: Daschle withdraws.

I'm glad. I don't think much of Tom Daschle. I was cheered when he lost his Senate seat--South Dakota is a red state and it bewildered me as to why they had him as their Senator. Probably he ran as far to the right as possible when up for (re)election; but after becoming Senate majority leader he couldn't hide his politics from his constituents any longer. I don't think it's coincidental that he lost his seat after that.

In the "I guess I'm more upset than I thought" department, I found myself unable to get interested in playing WoW this afternoon, after learning of the news of my brother-in-law's death.

Since it was not the result of foul play or suicide there won't be an autopsy. "Cause of death: he died." I guess "how" isn't really all that important, anyway.
