Scythandra, terror of the plaguelands!

One of the neat things about how the DK character class starts is that you're limited to the easternmost area of the Eastern Plaguelands. I know you eventually get out from under that limit, though I'm not sure how; when I tried making a run for it I hit a vast invisible wall and couldn't go any farther west.

I expect that once I've finished the proper quest(s), I'll be free to go where I please. Probably there will be some storytelling involved about how "now you have broken free of the Lich King's will" or something.

Whatever and however it works, DON'T TELL ME. I'm looking forward to discovering it on my own.

Larry Elder talks about how, all else being equal, McCain's first 50 days would have been covered.

"We're too fat to work!"

Denis Leary said it best: "STOP EATING!"

If you're eating 3,000 calories a day, and you don't do anything but sit around and watch TV, yeah, you are going to be a fatass and there is nothing hereditary about it.

"All that healthy food, like fruit and veg, is too exensive." Then what you do is not eat so much of the inexpensive stuff. "Bacon butties for lunch"--I had to do a Google search to find out what that is, and it turns out to be a freaking bacon sandwich.

The family is on the dole to the tune of £22,000 per year, which works out to around $45,000 or so--assume that they're in council housing since they haven't worked for more than a decade; what the hell are they spending their money on? £50 per week for food, and "the bills" take the rest? What are "the bills"? Car payments? Cable TV? The article doesn't say.

It's 3 PM and there's a bunch of Scarlet Crusaders left to kill. Later.

Probably the last thunderstorm of the year, hard rain. Weather site says "2 to 3 inches of rain"--for the day, I think--and I'm not inclined to doubt…
