Og mentions "Shannon's" in this post, and considering the aviation theme of the post I can only assume he's talking about Shannon's Landing, which has the advantage of being at Lansing Municipal Airport. It has long windows on the runway side; go there on a pleasant day for lunch and you get to watch light aircraft take off and land.

They make their own potato chips. They're fantastic. My favorite dish is the Shannon's Special, which is the best hamburger around.
