I guess the server crew is on vacation this week. Good for them.
Anyway, on a whim I decided to play Calandraxyzz for the first time in ages, and added three levels to her in the course of one night. Heh.

I have got a lot of tabs open, so let's get going.
Obama's friend's kid gets a boo-boo on the beach; the President interrupts his golf game and there's a big to-do about it. But that guy nearly blows up an airplane over Detroit--bah, who cares?
Speaking of which, experts agree that 1.5 fluid ounces of explosive was enough to destroy the aircraft. Particularly since (we are informed) the bomber was sitting over the wing spar.
Oh, and by the way: "President Obama interrupted his vacation in Hawaii to declare that authorities 'will not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable.'" MSNBC, let me be the first to tell you that reading a short statement from a sheet of paper does not constitute an "interruption" to a two-week vacation. Even technically.
But Being President is oh so tiring for MC Sleepy. "MC Sleepy"--like "Boss Tweek"--is a label for Obama I haven't used for quite a while, but I think I'm going to revive "MC Sleepy" now.
That last link comes to us via The Anchoress and a good post on MC Sleepy's lack of stamina and desire to be a figurehead, not a leader.

Notice please that we are not hearing anything in the mainstream media about what's going on in Iran.

Bear in mind that Roman Polanski was found guilty of raping a 13-year-old girl. There is no "alleged" about it; a court of law found him guilty. He skipped the country before he could be sentenced, and so the US is trying to extradite him because he has not yet paid his debt to society.
But his friends in Hollywood think it's no big deal for a grown man to rape a 13-year-old girl, so long as it's one of the Hollywood elite doing it.

BMW's Mini-E has 'shrinkage' problems. It's the laws of physics: batteries are chemical machines, and chemical reactions slow down as temperatures drop.
This is going to be true of any kind of battery; and I'd wager that even "super-capacitors" will be temperature-sensitive.
This is Yet Another Reason electric cars are still not ready to completely replace gasoline-fueled cars.

As I said, WoW last night, all night. Calandraxyzz, who had been 41st level for a very long time, hit 44th before I became too tired to continue playing.
I tried tanking an instance; the first time through it went fine, but the second time through I couldn't hold aggro. The other players blamed me, but I have to wonder about that; if I was so incompetent, why did the first group work fine?
Oh well. F it.
