#190: Reflections from the Sunday Morning after Thanksgiving

The combined Friday and Saturday sales total for our store is flirting with $1,000,000, and Sunday's intake will surely put us well over the top. Most of the current total came from Friday's sales.

We felt it Friday night. Even with manual CAFs, pulls were over 1,800, and we had two large trucks to deal with. Backstock was finally finished at 8 AM, which was when I left--12 hours after I got there.

Tonight's pulls were actually higher--over 2,000--but we only had one truck with 1,600 cases on it. Hooray for our side.

It was not an easy week; but for me, it's over. My next workday is Monday.

I'm unbelievably tired. I'm going to get a shower and go to bed.
