Bear in mind that no one wanted this tariff except for Big Labor and Obama himself. The American tire companies did not want it. The automakers didn't want it. The consumers will find that they didn't want it, either.
But it works well for unions, and the Democrats are in Big Labor's back pocket. Why else do you think Big Labor is excluded from the "Cadillac Health Plan Tax"?
It looks as though the Obama administration is trying its best to start trade wars wherever possible.
