On to global warming/econazi stuff.
Polar bears apparently are a new species. They evolved from brown bears about 150,000 years ago as the last ice age was ending.
...well, how do you like that?
But that doesn't mean that polar bears can survive climate change. OH no: "Living through a warm period back then does not mean they are resilient to climate change now."
Okay, so let me get this straight: once natural selection--Darwin's theory--has taken place and caused a new species to evolve in response to changing conditions, it stops working? Polar bears evolved from brown bears in response to climate change but those same bears now cannot evolve in response to...climate change?
You guys can't have it both ways. Either polar bears came from brown bears in response to climate change, in which case they're not in any danger now; or else the theory of evolution doesn't work the way you think it does. Which will it be?

If the science is settled, why is Al Gore lying low? We haven't heard a peep from him lately, have we? Didn't he avoid Carbonhagen, too?

"The Dog Ate Global Warming" is a pieve on the missing data which supposedly "proves" man-made global warming.

Vox Day has an interview with John Williams, an economist who says we've actually been in a recession since 2006.
He makes some good points but the information isn't thorough enough for my taste.

Remember this the next time you hear these guys talking about how "the poor" are so bad off in America. Bruce Springsteen made $58 million last year.

Sunday morning I watched the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya arc of the first anime series, in order. (Eps 2, 3, 5, 10, 13, and 14.) I think I liked it better that way.
