#2324: Holy crap, that's an OUTRIGHT LIE!

Reference Fungus post "#2303: "From 'Yes We Can' to beans and franks in twenty months."

I linked this article about the "ozone hole" and presented the real facts about the ozone hole.

...but I hadn't read the whole article, until just now, and saw this whopper: "First observations of a seasonal ozone hole appearing over the Antarctic occurred in the 1970s...."

THAT IS A LIE.

THAT IS A LIE.

The first observations of the seasonal ozone hole over the Antarctic were made in 1956. Not "the 1970s" but nineteen fifty-six.

I edited that NASA graph to show the actual low ozone concentation over Antarctica in 1958; and I also added the mean high number for December of 2003 to demonstrate how the greenies are fudging the numbers. If you look at the records, you find that the low for 1958 was typical; every year since then we have observed this and the ozone has always depleted to around 100 Dobson Units (DU); and then it has always recovered to the typical normal level of about 300 DU. It has done this every year since 1956 without much change in magnitude or duration.

Without the points I've added, that graph is a complete fabrication.

THEY ARE LYING TO US.

What other environmental issues have they lied about?
