I have a litany of reasons, but just chalk it up to Neverwinter Nights. I could have spared an hour or so of the time I spent running around Faerun to write more story, and didn't.
The story will update sometime in the future; I'm just not sure when.
When I first decided to embark on the project, I had intended not to allow more than a week to pass between updates, but life--as it always does--intervened. It's always annoying when something you're following is unexpectedly interrupted, and I imagine (or hope) that it's no different in the case of those who tune in to Atomic Fungus solely to read Singularity.
So I now tender the formal apology:

...and promise I'll try to do better in the future.
