We watched the Melancholy of... arc of Haruhi, then did an ep of Kimi ni Todoke and two eps of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.
WTF, that's only 9 eps of anime. And a couple hours of random discussion.
Hopefully he's addicted enough that he'll make it back here sometime before another year has passed.

Amber Tamblyn on House, MD: wow.
First impressions: they made her a nice character. Totally unlike any other character in the series, Martha M. Masters (3M) is unwilling to be dishonest and does not want to violate the tenets of ethical behavior.
You know, 3M is highly similar to Joan Girardi in Joan of Arcadia, except a hell of a lot smarter. (Joan wasn't stupid; she was approximately average in intelligence.)
I like 3M.
House, of course, was a complete bastard towards her. He's a complete bastard towards everyone, particularly people who are joining his team.
Amber Tamblyn always looks like she's got a big butt for her size, especially when she wears skirts. It doesn't matter to me; it's a hot butt. Regular girls are awesome; Hollywood concentrates so much (too much) on women having perfect bodies that it loses sight of what really makes a woman attractive. (And damn, her hair is the perfect hair color for a woman.) What I don't get is the high heels: I have never seen a female doctor wearing high heels at work.
Oh well. I'm looking forward to seeing more episodes with her in them.

Sunday night (technically, very early Monday morning) I began re-watching some stuff: Kanamemo (now that I've got a fansub from DVD) and ToraDora!. I'm using these series to pad out the playlist, which--right now--consists solely of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu Purezza.
I did two eps of each; and partway through ep 1 of TD I realized I should be transferring it to DVD, so I'll end up watching eps 1 and 2 while that happens.

Remmyton, at level 46, finished the quests in Stranglethorn Vale, and I moved on to Tanaris. This evening I ran a couple quests while waiting for Sailor V to arrive, and hit level 47. Whee!
...if I can continue on this trajectory I shouldn't have any trouble getting to Outland. Usually I hit the doldrums about level 43 or so, and if I don't stop there I stop around where Remmyton is now. Once I'm in Outland it's a hop, skip, and jump to level 68, where I can handle the quests in Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord in Northrend.
I really should go back and try my other characters and see how the revamp of all the skill trees changed their playability. I'm told that the mage class is a damage machine now; Remmyton certainly is. I'm no longer worried about taking on a mob of baddies even if they're close to my level, because the bear holds aggro and we take 'em down in short order.

I'm still planning to hit the range this week, but it probably won't be on Tuesday. Heh.
