On the plus side, those quests in Uldum that kicked my ass do give plenty of XP. And some of the quest rewards raised Ormus' ilevel over 300, which lets him get into the higher-level Cataclysm instances.
After Uldum is done, there's the Twilight Highlands.

I tried something for dinner, a variation on something Og had suggested.
He'd mentioned--somewhere--cooking pork chops with au gratin potatos. I had the strogan-awful that I made the other day, in the failing crock pot; having decided that the stuff was inedible I tried to think of a way to salvage the meat.
It occurred to me that I could take the meat, rinse the sauce off, and maybe stir-fry it; but then I realized this was the perfect chance to try Og's suggestion, only with beef.
It worked.
I rinsed the beef off, and put it in a casserole with the au gratin mix; I let it bake for about an hour at 350°. After it had cooled--so that it was no longer boiling--I had a bowl of it, and it was pretty damn tasty stuff. So that one's a keeper.

Anyway, after dinner and a shower I didn't feel like doing anything, so I sat in my rocking chair listening to music and moping. Finally realizing that I was tired, I hit the hay, but tossed and turned until after 7:30. Then I slept, but only until about 9:30.
I answered an e-mail from my niece (who's loving the anime I sent her), did some desultory surfing, and this post--now it's 11, and I'm going to go back to bed.
