Apparently global warming hype won an Oscar this year--others say so, and I wouldn't think of doubting them; anyway I wasn't about to pollute my frontal lobes with all that Oscar BS, because I need my brain.
Of course I've made plenty of my own comments about the inconvenient truths of global warming. I'm one of those nasty "global warming deniers" that the warmistas want to lump in with "Holocaust deniers". (And, of course, Al Gore wants to put me in jail for that.)
Here's the good stuff, the salient quote; emphasis mine:
The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh — more than 20 times the national average.
Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh — guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.
Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.
Al Gore is a fucking hypocrite.
