Hurray! Isn't that wonderful?
But it's kind of okay, because when I woke up I realized that I hadn't gotten the garbage out yet, and I was able to get up and go do that. Then I micronuked a TV dinner.
TV "dinners", if they don't cost $5 each (and even sometimes when they do) are no longer meals. They're more like "TV snacks" now. They've gotten smaller over the years, and less complicated. Some of them are still pretty tasty, though.
Banquet's swedish meatballs, for example. It used to have six meatballs, then five; now it has four. It's the only TV dinner to which I have ever had to add salt.
Their salisbury steak is good; I usually make a sandwich out of the patty.
...these things can usually be had for about $1 each, and they're edible enough. It's not haute cuisine or anything but when you find yourself awake at 2:30 AM and want something to eat....
