I woke up with a splitting headache (that still hasn't gone away after a bacon mofo and Tylenol) and it was from a very pleasant dream.
There was a lot going on that I don't remember. In the last part of the dream, though, I was seated at one end of a modest dinner table. There were five women and a couple of other guys there as well, and it was made obvious to me that I could pick whatever woman I wanted and it would be a "sure thing".
("A sure thing: no questions asked, no strings attached, no guilt involved...a sure thing.")
I couldn't decide. It was the worst possible situation for a guy like me; I had to pick one and knew that picking one of them would hurt the feelings of the others, and I wasn't even sure which one would be the best match even for a "sure thing". A blonde on the right, a brunette on the left, and a couple of Japanese twins at the far end--pick one of the pair--and they were all good-looking and clad in swimsuits so there was no doubt about their construction, either.
One of the other guys seemed to be leaning towards one of the Japanese girls. I went outside to think it over, and while I was walking past the tennis court (?) I tripped and stumbled, and while I was trying to recover my footing somehow one of the Japanese girls ended up rolled up in a blanket and falling on top of me. I found her face. "Which one are you?" I asked.
"I'm Ai!"
"Okay," I said, and kissed her. WTF, this made the choice easier, since having a hot woman literally fall in my lap is as good an indicator as any for which I should choose. I was working on unwrapping her when I woke up.
Ah, the injustice. It's always like that; I never get the girl, not even in my dreams. I did not quite get up saying, "Come back, Ai-chan!" but I had to work for it.

Anyway, once I was awake, I hit the grocery store for some miscellanious things I was out of. Pepsi was on sale--with a $10 purchase and a coupon you could get 5 6-packs for $12--so I wanted to do that before the sale ended. (Works out to $2.40 per 6-pack, and if you prefer cans you could get 12-packs. It's the same amount of pop, though.)
...and I'm thinking about going back for more, because it's usually about $4 per 6-pack. As it stands now I've got a 2-week supply at current typical use rate, though.
I debated going and getting a pizza, but all I really wanted was just to get home again and vegetate; so I got a bacon mofo and called it good.
When I got home there was a call from Baker's Square on the answering machine. "You ordered pies last year, and...." So it wasn't too late for me to order them (I thought it was) and I ended up ordering two caramel pecan silk supremes: one to take to my brother's place on T-day, one to keep for myself. *sigh*
Maybe I can get some friends to come over and eat some of it....
I spent $40 at the store, which isn't too bad. There wasn't really anything I sorely needed, other than the pop, but I bought a roast for $6-ish that will make a nice meal or two.

Anime-wise, Fairy Tail has moved onto the next big plot arc. I think it's the last big story the TV series will tell, unless they finish this one faster than they usually do and start another one. And once it's over, then I can go back to the beginning and start recording it to DVD.... (There are 20 eps left in the TV series, though.)
Ano Hi Mata Hana WTF!!! is really a good story, too. Are there really only 11 episodes? *sigh*
More Yawara! eps, finally--eps 63-68 are out, and El-Hazard is ganking them as I write this. Woohoo!

It does not help my estimation of myself and my subconscious to realize that "Ai" in Japanese means "love". *sigh*
