#3270: Well, for what it's worth, I voted.

After I had a final look at the platforms of the Republican frontrunners, I cast my vote for Santorum. He's an idiot, but he's apparently a slightly better idiot than any of the others. At least he doesn't support anthropogenic global warming and amnesty for illegal aliens like Gingrich, and he's not a bleached Obama like Romney.

For the Congressional race, I voted for James Taylor. (No, not the singer.) He gave specifics in his platform, unlike his opponent, who spoke in bland generalisms.

No Republicans filed for the state Senate and Representative. Why would anyone waste his time? This craptastic state is run by Mike Madigan and the Democrat Machine, and if you don't have the little (D) you're gonna be ignored.

Karigurashi no Arrietti is the latest Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli film. It's in theaters now; in fact I could go right over to Park Forest and watch the thing in the theater if I really wanted to.

I've had Howl's Moving Castle on DVD since I bought it a few years ago, and haven't watched it yet. There's also Tales from Earthsea and Ponyo. I'm really behind the times! WTF.

Time to order some f-ing DVDs, I guess.

"Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its idiot." Priceless.

Oh wait, no--raciss!

It's awfully windy today. I'm thinking (still) about riding the motorcycle out to Wal-Mart to get that RX filled (the one from the new doctor) but--well, windy.

Still, there are ways I can get out that way which don't involve riding through a few miles of corn fields, and that would cut down on the wind a bit. I have five hours before Bible study, anyway.
