The usual perusal of the usual sites has yielded nothing upon which I wish to comment.
On the plus side, the motorcycle seat is ready to go back onto the bike; I finished it this morning. But with this headache all I plan on doing is eating something and going back to bed.

Yesterday would have been Mom's 85th birthday. I found myself having chili dogs for dinner, topped off with cream horns; and as I was eating dinner I realized, Mom would have loved this.
I don't remember the last time I had chili dogs. Has it been since before she died? I can't recall.

Over on Wyrmrest Accord, I got involved with an actual role-playing guild. I created Meristani the paladin on Friday night and she joined Stormwind Trading Co; and Saturday night's guild event was a "patrol" of Stranglethorn Vale.
The characters walked along the road south from the rebel camp to Booty Bay. We killed monsters that threatened the roadway, role-playing all along; and at one point a small group of us raided the Venture Trading Company's outpost on Lake Nazferiti.
I had a blast. Pure RP is a lot of fun.
While creating the toon, I just kept clicking the "randomize" button under the name. There were a couple of candidates which looked good, but finally "Meristany" came up and erased the others from my brain. In my D&D campaign world, "Meristani" is the goddess of mercy and healing, so I changed the terminal "Y" to an "I" and okayed it.
Of course, Meristani the paladin is a protection paladin (tank) and I've therefore been playing her as if she'd been trained to be a soldier. But it's still fun, and a good name for a paladin, and all that.

Today the local fire department had its annual pancake breakfast, and as it's a short walk from the church to there (and they saw fit to remind me by placing a flyer on my windshield) I decided, what the heck, I'd go.
$6 got me in--same as in 2009, which was the last time I went to one--and I had two plates of pancakes, sausages, and eggs. Six pancakes (medium-small), four sausage links, and about three eggs' worth of scrambled eggs. Orange juice. Pretty tasty, and for a good cause.
Next week is Easter, of course. I haven't heard anything from my brother or sister-in-law about what's up, but I probably won't be doing much of anything special to celebrate. Go to church, sing in choir, etc.
But at church there's a communion service on Maundy Thursday, and an evening service on Good Friday; we're having an extra choir practice on Monday night. I'm going to go to church early Thursday night, then, to take communion before practice.
That makes it another week, though, where I'm at church the majority of the nights. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Heh.

I think my hot dogs are done. Time to eat...and then back to bed.
