1) BlogNone of which is particularly difficult to accomplish.
2) cut grass
3) wash clothes (at least get a load started, which is the hardest part)
4) send resume and cover letter to job posting I found
5) take out the trash
It's a nice cool and breezy day, so I'll have to wear more than shorts and a t-shirt while cutting grass. It just about hit 90 yesterday; today it's struggling to hit 60. Welcome to late spring in Chicago!
...99° predicted for next Friday. *whimper*
Breakfast was the remainder of the steak I cooked on Saturday, as a sandwich. Damn, I got three meals out of that thing! How much would that steak have cost me from the store? $12? $16?
...and a slice of birthday cake.

In the Peoples' Demokratik Republik of Illinoistan, even the Republicans love to raise taxes.
Second commentor: "michelle, sorry to let you down, but we don’t really have republicans in illinois anymore." SIC. (Apparently his shift key is broken.)
This is just more of the same old crap:

The GOP is deliberately stifling the economy in order to hurt Barry! Those BASTARDS!
No, not a whit of media bias here! What makes you think that?

Vox Day on John Scalzi's white guilt.
And it led me here, which I am linking because of the following quote, emphasis and links removed:
The second male scribe to fire a flaming Roman candle into his own crotch last week was the profoundly unhandsome sci-fi writer John Scalzi, who apparently attracts legions of profoundly unhandsome fans who could pass for the bastard sons of Roger Ebert, all of them swinging their flaccid lightsabers of righteous self-abnegation in agreement. It's really difficult to write that kind of denunciation, let me tell you. A simply masterful turn of phrase, that.
At the top of the second page of that article is a picture of a sullen young "man" holding a sign that says, "I need feminism because I don't want to be 'manly'." Mission accomplished, pussy-boy! You're already there! No need to worry about being "manly" because you're never going to manage it!

To my disappointment, the Yawara! ran out at chapter 73, and the last update was in March. *sigh* I was hoping it would go farther than the anime's gone, since this shit started scanlation in 2005 (judging by comments on the credits pages) but sadly it's gotten to perhaps ep 50 in the anime.
I watched ep 87 not long ago. *sigh*
Yet another manga series which is largely (if not completely) stagnant.

So now it's 3 PM and I still have to get moving on chores. I guess I'd better get to it.
